This is a government by the rich for the rich. I’m more concerned about the centuries of experience we tossed out of government, ordinary people that lost hard earned retirement money, the number of small businesses that will close, and the erosion of our rights.

Couldn’t agree more. I’d gut the whole thing—libertarian monetarist to the core (Chicago School, UWO chapter). This isn’t governance, it’s elite asset protection. We didn’t just lose retirees’ savings and mom-and-pop shops—we torched institutional memory and handed the steering wheel to pocket liners.. Rights? Eroding faster than the M2 velocity chart.

You got it. I have moved away from MMT when I found out Milton Friedman played a strong hand in the US overthrowing Chile’s democracy and installing Pinochet as a dictator. The middle class lost everything. The rich became fabulously wealthy. How? The government privatized assets and sold them at low prices to private investors. Same play 47 is doing now.
